Based in Randburg, Majinga is seeking a motivated and reliable Installation / Cable Technician to join their team. This entry-level position offers comprehensive hands-on training to develop essential skills in cable installations and network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of network cabling and related infrastructure
- Support fibre and cable routing activities
- Assist with cable termination and basic splicing where applicable
- Perform basic fault finding and troubleshooting
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Ensure installations meet company quality and safety standards
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Physically fit and comfortable working in field environments
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
Advantageous Skills
- Exposure to fibre or cable splicing
- Previous experience in installations or field-based technical work
