Currently, Volga Partners is seeking entry-level, foundational Language Data Quality Reviewers for an ongoing, task-based project supporting a high-volume client initiative.
Role Overview
This freelance, task-based role is designed for individuals seeking supplemental income and real-world experience in AI language data and quality operations. Work is offered on a first-come, first-served basis as tasks become available, with hours that may be irregular and intermittent depending on client volume.
The role suits detail-oriented, flexible candidates interested in gaining exposure to AI, language data, and quality workflows. Project hours generally align with Indian Standard Time (IST).
Who You Are (Foundational / Entry-Level)
You are building foundational skills in French and eager to gain hands-on experience in language quality and data operations. You are comfortable working on guided tasks, following detailed instructions, and meeting quality expectations.
Example Tasks
- Review simple content for grammar, spelling, and clarity in English and French
- Translate short, straightforward phrases between English and French
- Compare data against provided guidelines
- Apply basic data labels using step-by-step instructions
- Flag obvious errors or inconsistencies
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic data and content reviews using provided guidelines
- Execute foundational quality checks (spelling, grammar, formatting)
- Apply basic data labeling and tagging
- Follow client instructions and workflow processes
- Maintain quality and accuracy standards
- Incorporate feedback to improve performance

- Interest in AI, data, or language technology
- Prior exposure to data entry, content review, QA, or similar work (preferred, not required)

Engagement Type & Classification
This is a freelance, task-based engagement:
- United States candidates: Classified as 1099 Contractors (temporary, project-based)
- Non-U.S. candidates: Classified as independent contractors and onboarded via Deel
Classification depends on worker location and local compliance requirements.
Onboarding & Compliance
All global contractors are onboarded through Deel.com. U.S.-based workers are onboarded through Volga Partners’ U.S. payroll system. Candidates must successfully complete onboarding and provide required documentation before starting work.
Compensation
Hourly compensation varies by country and region and is based on experience, language, and local market requirements.
For Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, and South Africa, the range is USD $3 – $5 per hour (depending on experience).
