Entry-Level Desktop-Based Sales Consultant Position
Position Overview
Core Group is seeking a dynamic and motivated Entry-Level Desktop-Based Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sales, with strong communication skills, eager to launch their careers in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will drive sales growth through detailed desktop research and proactive customer cold calling.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive desktop research to identify potential clients, market trends, and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain an accurate database of prospective clients.
- Initiate outbound cold calls to potential customers to introduce products/services, identify needs, and generate sales leads.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, ensuring consistent follow-ups and relationship nurturing.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop tailored pitches and sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations via phone and email communication.
- Track all sales activities in the CRM system, ensuring up-to-date records of interactions and outcomes.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications
- Matric certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent (minimum requirement).
- A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus, though not required.
