Position Summary
ExecutivePlacements.com is recruiting on behalf of a client seeking an entry-level Cargo Handler for their team based in Johannesburg East and George.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the movement of inbound and outbound cargo according to standard operating procedures
- Handle and scan cargo efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all equipment is checked for serviceability
- Maintain a safe and secure workplace environment
- Work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced warehouse setting
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with team members
- Operate light machinery as required
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Valid forklift licence
- Willingness to work extended hours
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Salary and Benefits
- Basic salary of R5,614 per month
- Travel allowance
