Digital Marketing Intern Opportunity at Modern Hair Products & Services
Modern Hair & Beauty is seeking a motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team for a 12-month internship. This role is ideal for recent marketing or related graduates with a passion for digital marketing, design, and content creation. Key Responsibilities
- Manage administration for online shop platforms including TAL, MHB Online, Superbalist, and Amazon – product uploads, updates, discontinuations, stock checks, and gathering imagery
- Schedule social media posts and write captions
- Assist with content bank management
- Create copy and content for websites, advertisements, and graphics
- Resize images and update PDFs using Canva and Adobe software
- Engage in community management across social media platforms – replying to comments/messages, sharing Instagram stories, and engaging with posts
- Support influencer marketing efforts by sourcing and vetting influencers, coordinating and tracking deliveries, and assisting with influencer product drops
- Collect and track digital performance data including analytics and influencer content reports
- Handle sponsorship and promotional requests and manage product invoicing
Requirements
- Relevant marketing or related qualification
- Proven skills in graphic design, digital marketing, paid media, and social media content creation (experience with Canva and Adobe preferred)
- Strong writing skills with high attention to detail
- Organised, proactive, and a team player with enthusiasm for beauty and digital trends
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Valid Code 8 Driver’s License and reliable vehicle; must be based in Cape Town

Remuneration: R12,000 – R15,000 per month (dependent on skills and experience)
