ASSMANG Pty Ltd is currently inviting skilled, motivated, and dedicated individuals to join the Black Rock Mine Operations, located 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. This opportunity allows candidates to grow and develop within a leading mining company.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) has initiated Learnerships, Skills Programmes, and Qualifications tailored for the mining sector. These programmes are structured around unit standards. As learners gain competence in the prescribed unit standards, credits are recorded on the MQA database. Upon completion of all relevant unit standards, a certificate is issued by the MQA. A formal trade test is required upon completion of the learnership.
Requirements
Desired Experience & Qualifications for Diesel Mechanic Learnership
- N2 qualification including the following subjects:
- Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy)
- Engineering Science
- Engineering Drawings
- Diesel Trade Theory
- Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics and Science (Required)
- N2/N3 Engineering studies certificate (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License CODE B/EB (Advantageous)
- Dover “B” Symbol (Required)
- Successful completion of the Technical Test Battery Assessment (Required)
- English literacy (Required)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
