What You Will Experience
This internship goes beyond observation; you will engage with real projects influencing decision-making in payments, lending, digital wallets, and financial services products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-informed decisions
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Build dashboards and reporting tools using SQL, Power BI, and Python
- Work with modern data platforms such as Snowflake
- Contribute to analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives
- Present insights to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Participate in structured mentorship and personal development programs
You will gain exposure to both technical and commercial analytics, understanding not only how to analyze data but why it matters within business contexts.
What We Are Looking For
- Recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Interest in programming languages such as SQL and Python
- Curiosity about data platforms, visualization tools, and AI
- Effective communication skills with ability to explain insights clearly
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- South African citizenship
