As part of the world’s fastest-growing hearing care company, we aim to double our South African operations within two years and become the leading hearing care provider in the country. To support this growth, we are hiring a Customer Communications & Marketing Intern for an initial 4-month internship based in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to social media comments and messages, primarily on Facebook.
  • Answer inbound customer calls and reply to emails and SMS messages as needed.
  • Support marketing campaigns, including content creation, email/SMS campaigns, and digital advertising.
  • Manage the WhatsApp channel to maintain smooth and professional customer communications.
  • Assist with basic reporting, analytics, and performance tracking for marketing and communications.
  • Collaborate on projects to optimise the customer journey and engagement.
  • Contribute to CRM processes and marketing systems.

Candidate Profile

  • Mindset & Energy: Curious, creative, motivated to learn, optimistic, approachable, and team-oriented.
  • Skills & Experience: Recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, or related field; exposure to customer-facing roles or communications support is desirable.
  • Comfortable with social media platforms, WhatsApp, digital tools, and basic analytics.

Success Indicators

  • Reliable and proactive team member contributing to efficient multi-channel communication.
  • Professional handling of customer queries across social media, WhatsApp, email, SMS, and calls.
  • Active contribution to campaigns and projects with initiative and attention to detail.
  • Growth in practical marketing and customer engagement skills during the internship.
