Citi South Africa is inviting applications for its year-long Graduate Internship Programme aimed at newly qualified university graduates. This programme offers valuable exposure and practical work experience across various Citi business sectors. Graduates participating in the programme may apply for permanent positions within the year and will also receive sponsorship for a postgraduate qualification relevant to their field of work.

Your time here will look something like this:

  • As a Graduate, you will undergo a comprehensive interview process. If successful, you will be placed in one of the following business areas: Operations.

  • The Learnership Programme is designed to train and develop key players in today’s dynamic economic landscape, providing you with the knowledge and training necessary to make a significant impact in both the African and global economy.

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree with a GPA of 65% or above, or a Master’s degree in any discipline.
  • A maximum of 1 year of work experience is acceptable but not mandatory.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills are essential.

Skills and Competencies:

  • A dedication to learning and a genuine passion for the business are crucial.
  • Commitment to personal growth and career development, along with a strong desire to learn and succeed in team environments.
  • Knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills.
  • A desire to develop a deep understanding of the financial industry.
  • Unquestioned commitment to integrity and ethical decision-making.
  • An accounting qualification is an added advantage.
