About the Internship Programme

Programme Overview

The Graduate Internship Programme at CIPC is part of a national initiative approved by Cabinet in December 2002 aimed at fostering youth development and capacity building within the public sector. Successful interns will receive hands-on exposure in Intellectual Property (IP) Copyright and Enforcement, gaining valuable experience aligned with their academic qualifications.

Who Should Apply?

  • Unemployed South African graduates holding a degree or diploma
  • Graduates with no prior work experience
  • Graduates who have never participated in an internship
  • Applicants aged between 18 and 35 years

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Applicants must have completed one of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
  • National Diploma in Business Management
  • National Diploma in International Trade
  • National Diploma in Criminology
  • National Diploma in Information Technology
  • National Diploma in Marketing
  • National Diploma in Supply Chain Management

Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) prior to application.
