Role Purpose
The Distribution Support Intern will assist the Distribution Support Department with key legal functions including research, document drafting, compliance monitoring, and analytical reporting. This internship provides valuable exposure to legal risk management by ensuring that legal risks are adequately identified, tracked, and reported.
Requirements
- LLB degree (completed or in final year)
- Exposure to corporate/commercial law (desirable)
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (desirable)
- Basic knowledge of governance and compliance principles (desirable)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare briefing notes
- Assist in drafting contracts, addendums, and legal correspondence
- Support monitoring and reporting of regulatory compliance
- Maintain legal risk registers and tracking tools
- Analyze trends related to legal issues including disputes, regulatory developments, and complaints
- Prepare monthly and quarterly legal dashboards
- Assist with document management and governance processes
