ASSMANG Pty Ltd is inviting skilled, motivated, and dedicated individuals to join the Black Rock Mine Operations, located 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to grow and develop within the mining sector through structured learnerships and skills programmes.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) has initiated learnerships, skills programmes, and qualifications tailored for the mining industry. These programmes are based on unit standards, which learners must complete to gain credits registered on the MQA database. Upon successful completion of all required unit standards, learners will receive a certificate issued by the MQA. Additionally, a formal trade test is mandatory upon completion of the learnership.

Requirements

Desired Experience & Qualifications for Auto Electrician Learnership

  • Minimum N2 qualification with the following subjects:
    • Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy)
    • Engineering Science
    • Engineering Drawings/Electrical Trade Theory
    • Motor Electrical Theory
  • Grade 12 Certificate with Maths & Science (Required)
  • N2/N3 Engineering Studies Certificate (Required)
  • Valid Driver’s License CODE B/EB (Advantageous)
  • Must obtain Dover β€œB” Symbol (Required)
  • Pass the Technical Test Battery Assessment (Required)
  • English Literacy (Required)
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
