SVA International, a prominent South African Architecture and Urban Design practice, is offering an exciting opportunity for an internship in 2026. With offices located in Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Gqeberha, SVA operates extensively across the African continent and is a proud member of the GIBB Group of companies. Our internship program is designed to empower future architects and foster their development into industry leaders.
Duties & Responsibilities
During this 12-month internship, you will have the opportunity to develop essential skills and competencies, including:
- Mastering Autodesk AEC Revit software: achieve basic user skills by month 3 and intermediate skills by month 12.
- Gaining proficiency in Autodesk construction cloud skills within 6 months.
- Working effectively in Architectural Services, PROCSA work stages 1 – 6, ideally in a minimum of 2 (preferably 3) work stages during the year.
- Becoming an integral and productive member of a delivery team within 4 months, aligning your capacity to deliver with team requirements.
- Acquiring commercially based skills in architectural planning and design, detailing, graphics, and managing consultant information.
- Engaging with the practice to ensure your portfolio of evidence meets the standards required for re-admission to your University at year-end.
