The ANB/Maf Roda Technician Internship is a structured, hands-on program designed to develop your technical, operational, and leadership capabilities in maintaining and optimising Maf Roda automation systems. You will receive in-depth technical training, mentorship from industry professionals, and practical experience across multiple packhouse facilities—all subject to a workback agreement.
Internship Focus Areas
- Technical Operations: Learn to operate and calibrate Maf Roda Sizer systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Assist with routine inspections and servicing.
- Troubleshooting: Support fault diagnosis and resolution under supervision.
- Mentorship & Shadowing: Learn from senior technicians and engineers.
- Workflow Integration: Understand packhouse processes and system flow.
- Quality & Safety: Support monitoring of machine output and standards.
- System Optimisation: Begin learning about system efficiencies.
- Reporting: Develop effective communication and reporting skills.
- Time Management: Demonstrate punctuality and proactive learning.
- Leadership Exposure: Engage in basic project work and team support.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- A relevant qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical fields.
- Practical or theoretical experience in a technical or maintenance-related role.
- Exposure to citrus packhouse operations or automation systems is advantageous.
- Currently enrolled in, or a graduate of, a related technical programme preferred.

- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
