Allan Gray: Bursary / Fellowship Programme 2025
The Allan Gray Fellowship Programme seeks young achievers transitioning into university—individuals eager to make a significant impact in their lives and their communities. Recipients of the Fellowship receive needs-based funding for university and access to support and development aimed at fostering an entrepreneurial mindset.
Fields of Study:
An intention to study towards a degree in:
- Commerce
- Science
- Engineering
- Law
- Humanities
- Arts
- Health Science (excluding Medicine, Veterinary Science, and Dentistry)
Requirements:
- Open to Grade 12 learners
- A minimum of 60% in Pure Mathematics OR a minimum of 80% in Mathematical Literacy for final Grade 11 results
- A minimum average of 70% for final Grade 11 results (excluding Life Orientation)
- The applicant must be under the age of 21 in the year of their application
- The applicant must be a South African citizen
- An intention to study towards a degree in Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law, Humanities, Arts, or Health Science (excluding Medicine, Veterinary Science, and Dentistry) at WITS, UJ, UCT, NMU, RU, UWC, SU, UP, UFS, UKZN, or TSiBA
