The CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) Internship Programme provides new graduates the opportunity to gain 12 months of working experience in a research environment. This programme aims to help interns grow core research skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Eligibility
- New Graduates: Must be in the fields of science, engineering, and technology.
Criteria
- Educational Requirement: Must hold a BSc, BEng, or BSc Honours degree in Science, Engineering, and Technology.
Internship Coverage
Financial Support:
- Monthly stipend.
- Informal training (short courses) through CILLA.
Non-Financial Support:
- Mentorship.
- Working on projects that contribute to improving the lives of South Africans.
