About the Role
This 6-month structured internship offers TVET students or graduates practical, hands-on experience as Service Area Assistants within the Deli, Bakery, and Produce departments at Pick n Pay stores located in Gauteng.
Main Duties
- Operational Support: Assist with product preparation, merchandising, replenishment, and stock rotation to reduce waste.
- Safety & Quality: Maintain hygiene, food safety, and quality standards within food-handling departments.
- Customer Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service and collaborate with team members to meet performance goals.

Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- TVET qualification or current studies toward a qualification in Hospitality, Food Services, Retail, or a related field.
- Strong interest in retail with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Flexible availability including shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
