Our client is currently seeking an entry-level Cargo Handler to join their team in George, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the movement of inbound and outbound cargo
- Ensure cargo is handled and shipped according to standard operating procedures
- Provide excellent customer service
- Handle and scan cargo accurately
- Check equipment for serviceability
- Maintain a safe and secure workplace
- Work efficiently under deadlines
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Operate light machinery and equipment
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Valid forklift licence
- Willingness to work extended hours
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Salary and Benefits
- Basic salary of R5,614 per month
- Travel allowance
- Shift allowance
- 13th cheque
