Graduate Internship Programme for Directors, Members and Practitioners (DMP) Unit at CIPC

The Companies & Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a member of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic), is offering a Graduate Internship Programme aimed at empowering unemployed graduates with valuable workplace experience. This 12-month internship is designed to support youth skills development by providing practical exposure aligned with academic studies. Interns will be based at the CIPC Sunnyside Office in Pretoria.

What is the Internship?

As defined by Cabinet in December 2002, the Internship Programme is a public service initiative for unemployed South African graduates. The programme offers graduates the chance to gain hands-on experience and apply the skills they acquired during their studies, preparing them for future careers.

Who Should Apply?

  • Unemployed South African graduates from accredited higher education institutions who have completed their degrees or diplomas.
  • Graduates without prior work experience.
  • Applicants aged between 18 and 35 years.

Remuneration

Successful interns will receive a monthly stipend of R12,000.00.

  • A certified copy of your South African ID.
  • A copy of relevant qualification(s) uploaded under the “supporting documents” section.
