Job Description: Global Intelligence Intern at Crisis24
Crisis24 is seeking a motivated Global Intelligence Intern with a strong academic background in political studies, international relations, or global affairs. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to support the Global Intelligence Department in Cape Town, South Africa, by researching, analysing, and developing foundational intelligence. Candidates must currently reside in Cape Town to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and updating of foundational intelligence focusing on:
- Political landscape and governance
- Socio-cultural dynamics
- Security and risk environment
- Economic and financial context
- Infrastructure, health, and environmental factors
- Research regional and global geopolitical developments and identify trends relevant to client interests
- Assist with data collection and source validation under guidance from the Collections and Source Lead
- Analyse and synthesise open-source information into clear, structured intelligence outputs
- Contribute to the creation of country or topic-specific intelligence modules using existing datasets
- Monitor current events and provide contextual analysis to support broader intelligence products
