Job Description
South African National Parks (SANParks) invites applications from qualified graduates who have completed a National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Honours Degree (NQF Level 6/7/8) from a South African public Higher Education Institution. Successful candidates will be placed within SANParks or SANBI for a 12-month internship programme. This full-time opportunity offers a monthly stipend ranging from R6 335.69 to R9 088.37, based on qualification level.
Please note that SANParks is not obliged to provide permanent employment following the conclusion of the internship programme.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Unemployed South African graduates aged 18 to 35 years.
- Completion of a National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Honours Degree (NQF 6/7/8) from a South African public Higher Education Institution in the relevant field.
- Applicants must not have prior employment or previous participation in any internship or placement within the Public Service or Public Sector.
- South African citizenship is mandatory.
Available Placement
- Human Capital Management Division: 3 positions for National Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Honours Degree in Human Resources Management.

- Attach a recent CV, certified copies of Matric/Grade 12 certificate, academic qualifications with transcripts, and South African ID.
- Clearly indicate preferred National Park/Workstation, Division, and Field of Study in the application.
