National Certificate in Gaming Technical & Floor Assistant Programme
The National Certificate in Gaming Technical & Floor Assistant provides unemployed candidates with an accredited qualification at NQF Level 3. This 12-month programme equips learners with essential skills and workplace exposure in the gaming industry, significantly improving their employment prospects. Candidates should be prepared to work in both smoking and non-smoking environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with a friendly smile, maintain eye contact, and ensure respectful interactions at arrival and departure.
- Be available to assist guests with queries and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform cleaning, servicing, replacement, and testing of minor components of Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Gaming Kiosks, Displays, card readers, keypads, iView screens, note acceptors, EGM bases, Gaming Table Equipment, Signage, cashiering equipment, marketing, and promotional equipment as outlined in the work output task register.
- Conduct clean-ups and relocate equipment as necessary.
- Maintain a tidy and safe workshop environment.
- Clean, store, and secure equipment appropriately.
