Creamer Media is seeking a full-time content writer based in Bedfordview, Johannesburg. This in-office position requires a candidate with their own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence to support occasional travel for interviews and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate industry-specific content focused on mining and related industry topics.
- Research and write stories for weekly feature publications.
- Meet strict weekly deadlines consistently.
- Identify and develop new story leads to maintain fresh and relevant content.
- Travel occasionally for interviews and industry events as required.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience writing for print and online publications.
- Tertiary education qualification in journalism, writing, or a related field.
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage own diary effectively.
- Interest in mining or engineering is advantageous.
