Purpose of the Job
The PQ Test Technician Intern at Rheinmetall Denel Munition (RF) (Pty) Ltd will support the team in preparing and executing Static, Environmental, and Ballistic Tests. The intern will gain hands-on experience with various equipment, collecting data, and analyzing the performance and reactions of different test samples.
Key Performance Areas
- Assist with preparation and execution of Environmental tests and Static Motor firings
- Support conditioning of test samples
- Contribute to Lot Acceptance and Qualification Testing
- Assist with instrument calibration tasks
- Perform first line maintenance using SAP
- Help install, troubleshoot, and repair test and programmable equipment
- Support programming and configuration of testing range instruments
- Assist in evaluating, analyzing, interpreting, and generating comprehensive test reports
- Support procurement processes for test materials and consumables
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation within RDM
- Adhere to Rheinmetall Denel Munitions Policies and Procedures, maintaining compliance with ISO Standards regarding SHE, Quality, Environmental, and Energy management
