ASSMANG Pty Ltd is inviting skilled, motivated, and dedicated individuals to join the Black Rock Mine Operations, located 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. This is a unique opportunity to grow and develop within a leading mining company.
Duties & Responsibilities
The mining sector learnerships, skills programmes, and qualifications are initiated by the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA). These programmes are structured around unit standards. As learners demonstrate competence in the prescribed unit standards, credits are recorded on the MQA database. Upon completion of all relevant unit standards, a certificate will be issued by the MQA. A formal trade test is required to complete the learnership.
Requirements
Desired Experience & Qualifications for Plumber Learnership
- Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and Science (Required)
- N2/N3 Engineering Studies (Required)
- Subjects including Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Engineering/Building Science, Building Drawing, and Plumbing Theory
- Valid Driver’s License CODE B/EB (Advantageous)
- Must obtain Dover “B” Symbol (Required)
- Pass the Technical Test Battery Assessment (Required)
- English literacy with good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
