This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking to grow and develop within the mining sector through structured learnerships and skills programmes initiated by the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in learnerships, skills programmes, and qualifications aligned with mining sector standards.
- Complete prescribed Unit Standards to accumulate credits on the MQA database.
- Successfully complete a formal trade test upon finishing the learnership.
Requirements
Desired Experience & Qualifications for Diesel Mechanic Learnership
- Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics and Science (Mathematics, not Mathematics Literacy) (Required)
- N2/N3 Engineering Studies (Required)
- Subjects including Engineering Science, Engineering Drawings, and Diesel Trade Theory
- Valid Driver’s License CODE B/EB (Advantageous)
- Obtain Dover “B” Symbol (Required)
- Pass the Technical Test Battery Assessment (Required)
- English literacy with strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
