Training and Development Intern at Wasteplan

Wasteplan is seeking a dedicated Training and Development Intern to join their dynamic team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the complete training lifecycle, providing administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Training and Development department. The intern will engage in needs analysis, program coordination, facilitation assistance, and post-training evaluation, gaining valuable exposure to HR systems, adult learning principles, and organizational development practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Maintain and update training records, attendance logs, and digital learning management systems. Assist in preparing training materials, presentations, manuals, and handouts. Schedule training sessions and manage calendars for managers, facilitators, venues, and participants. Handle internal and external correspondence related to training programs.
  • Training Coordination: Support logistics including venue booking, catering, and equipment setup. Track attendance and compile feedback forms. Assist in monitoring e-learning module completions and compliance training.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports on training activities, attendance, and evaluation results. Ensure accurate filing of training documents for audit and compliance purposes.
  • General Support: Respond to employee queries about training topics, schedules, and requirements. Collaborate with HR team members on development initiatives.
