Learnership and Skills Development
The Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA) has initiated Learnerships, Skills Programmes, and Qualifications tailored for the mining industry. These programmes are based on unit standards. As learners demonstrate competence in the prescribed unit standards, credits are recorded on the MQA database. Upon completion of all relevant unit standards, the MQA issues a certificate. A formal trade test is required to complete the Learnership.
