ASSMANG Pty Ltd is inviting skilled, motivated, and dedicated individuals to join the team at Black Rock Mine Operations, located 80km North-West of Kuruman in the Northern Cape. This opportunity allows candidates to grow and develop within a leading mining company.
Duties & Responsibilities
The mine offers Learnerships, Skills Programmes, and Qualifications specifically designed for the mining sector, initiated by the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA). These programmes are structured around unit standards. As learners demonstrate competence in the prescribed unit standards, credits are recorded on the MQA database. Upon completion of all relevant unit standards, learners receive a certificate issued by the MQA. A formal trade test is required upon completion of the learnership.
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Position: Instrumentation Mechanician
- Education: N6/T6/S4 with the following subjects:
- Mathematics (Not Mathematics Literacy)
- Strength and Structure of Materials
- Industrial / Digital Electronics (Instruments only)
- Industrial Instruments; Electrotechnics (Required)
- Essential Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Certificate with Maths & Science
- N2/N3 Engineering Studies Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License CODE B/EB (Advantageous)
- Dover “B” Symbol (Required)
- Pass Technical Test Battery Assessment (Required)
- English Literacy
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
