Senior Certificate Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

Key Performance Areas

  • Render clerical support with the implementation of Youth Development Programmes such as Internships and Learnerships.
  • Provide clerical assistance in the bursary advertisement and awarding process.
  • Support bursary contract management, payments, and clearance certificate processes.
  • Assist with Recognition of Improved Qualifications (RIQ) applications.
  • Update relevant databases and files, supporting reporting and document review processes.
  • Deliver general clerical support services within the component.

Competencies

  • Knowledge of National and Provincial human resources management legislation, including the Public Service Amendment Act, Public Service Regulations, and Labour Relations Act.
  • Understanding of Human Resource Development legislation and documentation such as the Skills Development Act, National Skills Development Strategy, National Human Resource Development, SAQA Act, Skills Development Levies Act, Sectorial plans relevant to SETA, and the White Paper on Public Service Training and Education.

  • Teamwork and ability to work independently.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
