Job Purpose
The Packaging Learnership offers learners the opportunity to enroll for a National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging (NQF Level 3). This is a one-year fixed-term contract combining both on-the-job and off-the-job learning, culminating in a nationally recognized qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured learnership program integrating theoretical and practical training.
- Complete off-the-job learning focusing on theoretical knowledge related to food and beverage packaging.
- Apply theoretical knowledge through work-based learning experiences on-site.
- Demonstrate competence in the workplace according to SAQA registered unit standards and assessment criteria.
- Successfully complete assessments using various methods to validate skills and knowledge.
Learnership Characteristics
- Leads to a national qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
- Based on SAQA-registered unit standards reflecting workplace-relevant skills.
- Combines theoretical learning with practical application in the workplace.
Profile Requirements
- Minimum Matric certificate with Mathematics and English.
- Technical courses (N3, N4, N5, or N6) are an added advantage.
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively and interact well within teams.
