Under the guidance of the Senior Talent Acquisition, this role supports the recruitment team by providing effective recruitment administration in line with company values. This position focuses on assisting with candidate management, system administration, verification processes, and general recruitment support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- CV Editing: Ensure meticulous attention to detail when formatting CVs and summaries, highlighting relevant job specification matches and minimizing irrelevant work history.
- System Management:
- Upload CVs accurately to relevant systems.
- Schedule interviews based on calendar availability.
- File candidate information correctly and maintain detailed activity logs.
- Add new job roles or adverts and update existing role information in the system.
- Manage candidate rejection processes following company protocols.
- Assist in building and maintaining a pool of qualified candidates.
- Verification Processes:
- Manage employee, reference, and verification requests in the system.
- Book fingerprinting appointments and prepare consent forms.
- Follow up on outstanding verifications and provide timely feedback.
- Handle invoices from verification sites and conduct email or telephonic reference checks.
- General Administration:
- Manage incoming calls and act as the first point of contact.
- Schedule system training sessions as required.
- Manage collected recruitment information efficiently.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Adapt to evolving organizational requirements and undertake additional duties as delegated by senior management.
Minimum Requirements
- South African unemployed youth aged 18 to 34.
- Must not have previously participated in the YES programme.
- Matric certificate.
- Qualification in HR or related field preferred.
