Job Purpose

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve issues promptly, demonstrating resilience and endurance, including working flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Selling Skills: Identify customer needs and opportunities, leverage SAB’s unique value proposition, represent capabilities, and close sales effectively.
  • Planning and Organising: Collaborate with sales leads to develop and execute plans that leverage SAB’s competitive advantage; maintain excellent administration skills.
  • Customer Development: Manage and build relationships with tavern owners; conduct weekly customer calls to build partnerships and resolve issues; maintain accurate customer master data; achieve sales and volume targets.
  • AMPPS Delivery: Drive Availability, Merchandising, Price, Promotions, and Space (AMPPS) plans to meet targets.
  • Merchandising, Price, Promotions and Space: Ensure 100% availability of key brands; manage stock rotation; execute merchandising according to In Trade Execution Guidelines (ITEG); manage price communication and compliance; monitor competitive shelf space and brand positioning.
  • Asset Management: Manage SAB refrigeration and other assets; ensure compliance with SAB audits; conduct asset verification surveys; assist customers with stock replenishment systems.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree
  • Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
  • Basic computer literacy and Microsoft Office experience
  • Local area knowledge (Central – Kimberley region)
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Successful completion of driver’s assessment test prior to appointment
