Job Purpose

The Finance Intern at Palesa Mbali Group will support the Finance team with daily financial and administrative tasks while gaining practical experience in core finance functions. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily finance operations such as data capturing, reconciliations, and filing
  • Support preparation of invoices, payments, and expense reports
  • Capture financial transactions into accounting systems
  • Conduct basic bookkeeping and maintain the general ledger
  • Support month-end and year-end financial processes
  • Help compile financial reports and schedules
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative and finance-related duties
  • Liaise with internal departments to gather financial information
  • Maintain accurate financial records and proper documentation
  • Assist with compiling financial statements
  • Collaborate closely with finance and management on deliverables
  • Support procurement and supplier management activities
  • Assist in preparing pricing information under supervision
  • Support payroll and administrative systems as needed
  • Use accounting systems such as Xero and related software tools
  • Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and internal teams
  • Take ownership of small tasks and projects, ensuring completion
  • Manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines within a dynamic environment

Minimum Requirements
