Graduate Internship Programme at Companies & Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC)
The Companies & Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a member of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic), is dedicated to youth skills development by offering graduate internships. This programme provides unemployed graduates with practical work experience to complement their academic qualifications. The internship will run for 24 months, with placements available at the CIPC Sunnyside Office in Pretoria.
What is the Internship Programme?
As established by Cabinet in December 2002, the Internship Programme is a public service initiative aimed at unemployed graduates. It offers valuable workplace experience, allowing graduates to apply the skills they have studied and build their professional careers.
Who Can Apply?
- Unemployed South African graduates who have completed degrees or diplomas at recognized higher education institutions.
- Graduates without prior work experience.
- Graduates who have never participated in any Internship Programme before.
- Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old.
Remuneration and Conditions
Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R12,000.00. Successful candidates will be required to sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement before commencing their placement.
