About the Role
Signa Opportunity is seeking a motivated IT Support Intern to assist with IT support, website updates, data analysis, and inverter system management. This role offers hands-on experience in IT and technology operations, ideal for young professionals eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolving IT support requests from employees promptly and effectively.
- Answering employee inquiries related to computer systems and troubleshooting.
- Gathering and analyzing data to diagnose and address computer system problems.
- Modifying configurations, settings, and permissions to resolve technical issues.
- Generating sign-ins for new hires during the onboarding process.
- Installing new software and hardware drivers, as well as updating existing ones.
- Communicating with employees about the status of their service requests.
- Logging all service requests and maintaining accurate ticket updates.
Website Online Sales and Marketing
- Updating and uploading new pricing information on the website.
- Applying data analytics to improve website performance and sales.
- Implementing AI tools to support marketing strategies.
Inverter System Management
- Configuring and maintaining inverter communication systems.
- Performing analysis of faults within inverter systems.
- Managing data for completed installations to ensure accuracy.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
- Must not have participated in the YES programme before.
- Minimum qualification: Matric certificate.
