City of Tshwane Apprenticeships Programme 2026: Opportunities for South African Youth

Available Apprenticeship Trades and Reference Numbers

The City of Tshwane Learning and Development Division, an accredited training provider, invites unemployed South African youth to apply for the 2026 Apprenticeships Programme. The programme offers structured learning in the following trades:

  • Electrical (30 posts) – Reference Number: TLMA-E-2026
  • Welding (15 posts) – Reference Number: TLMA-W-2026
  • Vehicle Mechanics (30 posts) – Reference Number: TLMA-V-2026
  • Boilermaking (15 posts) – Reference Number: TLMA-B-2026
  • Plumbing (15 posts) – Reference Number: TLMA-P-2026
  • Fitting and Turning (15 posts) – Reference Number: TLMA-F-2026

Important: Applicants must apply separately for each apprenticeship using the respective reference number.

Stipend Details

Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R2,792.44 throughout the apprenticeship period.

Qualification Requirements

  • Technical Matric, NCV Level 4, or N2 certificate
  • Subjects required: Mathematics, Science, and relevant trade theory
  • Genuine interest in becoming a skilled artisan
  • Commitment, discipline, and enthusiasm for technical training

Additional Information
