National Operations Manager Internship at ElJoSa Travel & Tours
ElJoSa Travel & Tours, a leading luxury passenger transport provider in South Africa, is offering a unique National Operations Manager Internship based in Kuilsriver, Cape Town. Starting January or February 2026, this internship is designed for ambitious candidates aiming to build a career in the transport and tourism industry.
This position offers direct mentorship from senior management, providing invaluable exposure to operational, logistical, and leadership functions within a fast-paced national travel business. Successful interns will be positioned for succession into National Operations Manager roles, with potential progression to General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily national operations, fleet coordination, and service delivery management.
- Analyze operational systems and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
- Support HR, finance, and logistics teams in compliance and productivity tasks.
- Gain hands-on experience in transport operations including scheduling and client relations.
- Develop leadership skills through cross-departmental exposure.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
- Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Operations Management, Transport Management, or Business Administration (essential).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive problem solver who performs well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans; a third language is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license required; PrDP preferred.
