The George Municipality, located in the picturesque Garden Route District of the Western Cape Province, is inviting applications for a 2-year internship program. This opportunity is aimed at qualified unemployed graduates in the fields of Risk Management and Forensic Investigation. The municipality serves a diverse population of 294,929 residents across 28 wards, including Uniondale and Wilderness, and is known for its exceptional natural surroundings and vibrant tourism sector.
Internship Fields
- Risk Management: A three-year degree or diploma in Financial Accounting, Internal Auditing, or Commerce is required.
- Forensic Investigation: A three-year degree or diploma in Forensic Investigation, Law, Criminology, or any relevant field is required.
The successful candidates will be employed as interns in the Directorate: Office of the Municipal Manager at the George Municipality. They will work under the supervision of experienced Chief Risk Officers and Supervisors, with guidance from a Professional Mentor.
