The Companies & Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a member of the dtic, is excited to announce the launch of its Graduate Internship Programme for Corporate Disclosure and Compliance Regulation X1. This initiative is designed to foster youth skills development by providing unemployed graduates with the opportunity to gain valuable work experience that complements their academic studies. The internship will take place over a period of 24 months at our Sunnyside Office in Pretoria.

What is an Internship?

The Internship Programme, as endorsed by Cabinet in December 2002, serves as a public service graduate work experience initiative aimed at unemployed graduates. It provides students with essential workplace experience and an opportunity to apply the skills they have acquired during their studies.

Beneficiaries of the Internship Programme:

  • Unemployed South African graduates from higher education institutions who have completed their degrees/diplomas.
  • Unemployed graduates who have not been exposed to any work experience.
  • Unemployed graduates who have never participated in the Internship programme.
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years old.

Remuneration

Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R12,000.00. Successful applicants will be required to sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement.
