Job Description

The Companies & Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a member of the dtic, is excited to announce the opening of applications for the Graduate Internship Programme in Finance. This initiative aims to foster youth skills development by offering graduates the chance to gain valuable work experience that complements their academic studies. The internship will take place over a period of 24 months at our Sunnyside Office in Pretoria.

What is the Internship?

The Internship Programme, as initiated by the Cabinet in December 2002, serves as a public service graduate work experience opportunity targeting unemployed graduates. It provides students with essential workplace experience and the chance to apply the skills they have learned during their studies.

Beneficiaries of the Internship Programme

  • Unemployed South African graduates from higher education institutions who have completed their degrees/diplomas.
  • Unemployed graduates who have not been exposed to any work experience.
  • Unemployed graduates who have never participated in the Internship programme.
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years old.

Requirements

Remuneration

Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R12,000.00. Successful candidates will be required to sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement.

The qualification must be uploaded under the “supporting documents” section during the application process. Please ensure that each document is uploaded to the correct section, as failure to do so will result in automatic disqualification.

Additional Information

Qualifications and South African citizenship checks will be conducted on successful candidates. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Candidates must be available for selection interviews at a date, time, and place determined by CIPC.
