Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits and report on urgent matters.
• Conduct regular interviews and consultations with inmates and DCS officials regarding complaints and mandatory matters.
• Receive and capture all complaints/requests on the database.
• Open and maintain case files.
• Follow up on outstanding complaints.
• Submit monthly reports.
• Provide statistical analysis of all complaints received.
• Attend to enquiries.
• Carry out reasonable instructions from the supervisor/Regional Manager.

Requirements:

• Grade 12/Matric Certificate.
• Computer literate and accurate.
• A recommendation of nomination as an ICCV by a community organization (not older than six months).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Public-spirited with sound knowledge of Batho Pele principles.
• Assertiveness and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Driver’s license will be an added advantage.
