The City of Johannesburg Municipality is dedicated to providing skills development and educational opportunities for both its employees and the Johannesburg community. This year, the City is offering 200 bursaries to South African youth to pursue full-time undergraduate studies in various fields.

- Municipal Governance (Monitoring and Evaluation)
- Engineering (All Fields)
- Real Estate (Property Management, Property Valuation)
- Health (All Fields)
- Geo Information Science (GIS)
- Finance
- Accounting
- Auditing
- Small Business Management
- Supply Chain Management
- Treasury
- Economists
- Information Technology and Management (All Fields)
Criteria for Selection:
- Selection of successful candidates will be based strictly on academic merit.
- Applicants must study at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
- It is the student’s responsibility to seek admission to a tertiary institution.
- The bursary is for qualifications of no less than one year.
- The bursary does not apply to postgraduate qualifications.
The bursary is renewable annually, based on academic performance/results.
