Facilities and Security Internship Opportunity Available

CIPC (Companies & Intellectual Property Commission), a member of the dtic, is dedicated to youth skills development by providing graduates with valuable work experience opportunities to complement their studies. We invite applications for our Internship Programme, which will run for a period of 24 months. Interns will be placed in our Sunnyside Office in Pretoria.

WHAT IS INTERNSHIP

As outlined by the Cabinet in December 2002, the Internship Programme is a public service graduate work experience initiative aimed at unemployed graduates. It provides students with workplace experience and an opportunity to practice the skills they have studied.

Beneficiaries of the Internship Programme include:
– Unemployed South African graduates from higher education institutions who have completed their degrees or diplomas.
– Unemployed graduates who have not been exposed to any work experience.
– Unemployed graduates who have never participated in an Internship Programme.
– Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years old.

REMUNERATION

Interns will receive a stipend of R12,000.00 per month.

Successful applicants will be required to sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement.

OTHER INFORMATION

Qualifications and South African citizenship checks will be conducted on the successful candidate. It is the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).

Candidates must be available for selection interviews on a date, time, and place as determined by CIPC.
