YES Programme – Graphic Design Intern (12 Months)
Are you a creative and driven young South African looking to kickstart your career in graphic design? We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team through the YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme. This 12-month work experience initiative aims to provide unemployed youth with valuable workplace exposure and skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Design digital and print marketing materials (business logos, company cards, email signatures, etc.).
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to support campaigns.
- Maintain brand consistency across all designs.
- Assist with basic video editing and multimedia projects (advantageous).
- Update and manage content on digital platforms.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- South African citizen, aged 18–33.
- Currently unemployed and not studying full-time.
- Must not have participated in a YES programme before.
- Matric certificate required.
- Diploma or certificate in Graphic Design or related field (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
