HYDAC South Africa is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Johannesburg branch as a YES Learner. This full-time on-site role is part of the YES Programme, designed to provide youth with valuable workplace experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Qualification in Logistics/Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- Good communication skills – both verbal and non-verbal
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills (internal and external)
- Good interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the YES Learner include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure timely processing of data capturing – Invoices
- Raising purchase requisitions as needed
- Creating purchase orders
- Expediting orders
- Assisting with order confirmations and updating due dates and delivery dates
- Providing assistance to internal and external customers as required
- Assisting in resolving creditor queries and supporting financial year-end requirements
- Assisting with annual stock take preparations and participating in the annual stock count
- Ensuring compliance with ISO and health and safety requirements
- Performing any reasonable and lawful duties as required by management from time to time
