City of Polokwane: Learnership Programme 2025 / 2025
The City of Polokwane, in collaboration with Mahube Training & Development, invites applications from unemployed young individuals to join our 12-month Learnership Training Programmes.
The following Learnership Opportunities are now open for applications:
Learnership: Water and Wastewater Treatment

- Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
Learnership: Water and Wastewater Reticulation
- Reference No: 03
- Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
Learnership: Landscape
- Reference No: 04
- Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
Learnership: Electrical Engineering
- Reference No: 01
- Requirements: Must have Grade 10 with Mathematics
Selection Criteria:
- Must be South African citizens aged between 18 and 45
- Must be residents within the Polokwane Municipality jurisdiction
- Must be unemployed and have not previously participated in a Learnership or ARPL Programme
- Will undergo security vetting if selected
Required Documents:
- Detailed CV with signed covering letter (quote the relevant learnership and reference number)
- Certified ID copy
- Certified copies of qualifications
- Proof of residence from authorized traditional leaders or municipal rates and taxes (stamped)
